What does compassion mean to you? Compassion is listening and encouraging....without judgement.

How can we teach our littles compassion? Create opportunities that open doors for communication, and conversation. In my centre I had collaborated with a couple of local businesses, Save On Foods and the Bag Lady to create an age-appropriate experience to make lunches for the homeless community.

Why teach compassion? Children are sponges, and the soak up a lot of knowledge in the first 5 years of life. If you have opportunities that you get to be the first impression and its age-appropriate then create those experiences.
